The Magical Process of Lustration and Contact with the Planetary Spirit

The Magical process of Lustration brings about a certain Contact with the Planetary Spirit, this being an Initiation itself into the Mysteries of Group Dynamics. One is likely to have to face Malefic influences to open this Magical Secret, and the initial impressions one receives of it are so vastly awesome that one will know what one has seen, but will feel woefully inept at offering a description of it's significance. As an Esoteric subject its implications are absolutely vast, this is not surprising as it is the foundations of High Magic and the Greater Mysteries. Secrets known normally only to the Adepts - no wonder then the Initiate will have certain difficulties describing what he or she has seen. From Geburah onwards the Mysteries are mainly Experiential and hence difficult indeed to describe to others, those who have passed through this section of Geburah will grasp the implications of what is being ineptly described, however, those who have not as yet met this aspect of Geburah will have no possible grasp as to what is being described. When the Malefics of Geburah are encountered face to face upon an Astral level of Consciousness, the Initiate will be forced to consider the significance of the Lunar Sphere Yesod and the process of Lustration in relation to Contact with the Planetary Spirit.

Crowley had a much used saying that is a useful key to understanding the Mysteries of Lustration. He used to bandy around the phrase “0 = 2” and this has some Interesting connotations. What must be borne in mind is that Crowley also used to group things into sequences of 11, it was a little in joke, those who see it can then successfully navigate their way around his Magical Knowledge. 11 is the THOTH Tarot Deck’s Lust Card, as well as being the Number of Change and Daath. 11 is the Magical Number of a Change in Consciousness. 11 is the Number of the process of Lustration and Evolutionary Contact with the Planetary Spirit.

There are the Malefic aspects of Yesod concerning the Sex Force, from which in due season Lust must be transformed into Lustration, or in other words Purification by Sacrifice. It is from Frustration with the Condition that ultimately the Seed of the process of Lustration is sown. The question of Sacrifice promotes many an odd conception as to what the Sacrifice is, when in actuality it is completely obvious. The Initiate is hardly likely to Sacrifice their overall physical existence by offering themselves up for life termination in some bloodbath upon the Altar. Nor are good will, best intentions and so called principles and high or lofty ideals a thing fit for the Altar of Sacrifice, or Burnt Offerings. The animal lust aspect is Malefic until the process of Lustration has occurred. That is the Sacrifice and therein is it Earthed. However, this is not the last that is seen of the Malefic aspects.

It must be made crystal clear in Diamond Clarity that the process of Lustration is not a Magical castration, nor cutting off of the Sex Force, it is a correction of the Sex Force that has suffered from a primary deviation. It is Unregenerate within the Earth Sphere Man or Woman, who are unconsciously debased and of Animal Elemental quality. Lustration is correction and process of Divine Perfection in accordance with the Great Plan. Acquirement of this Knowledge is usually painful and related to the Initiation process of Geburah and it's Malefic influences. As a humble insight, from one with a little experience in this area, I would add that this Knowledge immediately directs the Initiate of Tiphareth backwards to reconsider Yesod. However far from being a retrograde experience it is symbolic of a small degree of progression towards the Greater Mysteries.

The Moon upon a Planetary level represents Water and the Emotions. However, we must never forget that the Sephiroth do not represent Planets but Cosmic Principles. The Planets are Mediators of the Sepherothic Cosmic Principles. Yesod thus is the Sphere of Air and Mind. This is useful knowledge. Also the fundamental mistake of the beginner, and often the Initiate pre some Geburah awareness, makes is that they see the Sephiroth as

being static and stationary - this is incorrect, the Sephiroth are Whirling and Spinning. When this dimension of the Sephiroth is known the Tree of Life becomes in Principle truly alive within Human Consciousness. The Tree of Life is not static, only Paths 32 to 11 are static.

0 = 2 and 11 are the Keys to the Mysterious Magical process of Lustration. Each of the Major Arcana Tarot Cards has Secret links to other of the Major Cards. In this case 11 Lust is linked to 0 The Fool. Lust is the Unregenerate Condition at the beginning of the process of Lustration, whereas The Fool represents completion of the process of Lustration. It is a process of Liberation which will sever the rule of the Passional Animal and Elemental Kingdom of the Lower Earth Soul, gaining entrance and Contact to the Planetary Spirit, or Higher Soul. The Evolutionary of the Human Collective is connected to the Planetary Soul represented by the Etheric portion of Moon/Yesodic Consciousness. Also if we look at 0 = 11 we could say it is saying "To Know Nothing of Lust = Lustration". Lust represents the Raw Power of the Green Ray, the Nature Energy, the Power Side of Magic, Courage, Strength, Vitality, Energy and Action, the stuff of Group Dynamics, "Une Grande Passion" and Magical Power. The Power used in Magic is of the Sexual Nature. The Fool does not initially appear to be Sexual in Nature, but essentially He is - He is Transformed Sexual Power and in terms of his link to Number 11 he is Daath, or Knowledge, The Bliss of the Babe of the Abyss. The Fool thus has a very Secret Overtly Sexual Nature. The Transformed Lust Card Number 11 becomes The Fool Numbered 0 - this is the Central Mystery of the Greater Mysteries. This is representative of a complete Transformation, both Physical and in terms of Consciousness. Remember Dion Fortune’s definition of Magic as “The Art of Causing Changes in Consciousness at Will". In terms of the Moons lead discipline as the Planetary Spirit, Dion Fortune was rightly a Mistress of that Art. In terms of the Formula of the Tetragrammaton the Father (Chokmah) and Mother (Binah) produces Polarity Twins within the Consciousness of the Macrocosm and the Microcosm, these in turn have to be reconciled.

The Two Gods as One, or as the Vau of the Tetragrammaton. The Dual Poles, Priapus, the Crocodile, Baphomet, Set

The Tarot Fool Card, as can be seen by these 11 sets of correspondences, contains the Formula of YHVH, the Tetragrammaton. The use of the Regenerated Sex Force as the Power of Spring and Aries, is symbolic of Yod in it's positive aspect. The use of the Christ or Eucharist (the mingled Sexual Fluids) fits with the use of Yod in it's negative aspect. The pattern of correspondences from above can be followed through the Heh, Vau and Final Heh. It is a pattern of setting in motion the Seven Spinning Wheels of the Chakras within the eighths aspect which is the Human Body.

1 Yod Positive = Chakra 1, 7th Plane, Binah Saturn

2 Yod Negative = Chakra 2, 6th Plane, Chesed Jupiter

3 Heh Positive = Chakra 3, 5th Plane, Geburah Mars

4 Heh Negative = Chakra 4, 4th Plane, Tiphareth Sun

5 Vau Positive = Chakra 5, 3rd Plane, Netzach Venus

6 Vau Negative = Chakra 6, 2nd Plane, Hod Mercury

7 Heh Final Positive = Chakra 7 1st Plane, Yesod Moon, Astral Planes and the Etheric Planetary Spirit

Heh Final Negative = Physical Elemental Body, Animal Plane of Lust and Lower Magnetic Attractions,

1st Plane, Malkuth Earth

From 0 = 11 we have reached Knowledge of 7. The Earth and Moon are as One, but the Earth is the Animal Lust Sphere, whereas the Moon is the Higher Planetary Spirit. Those who cling to Earth are lost and cannot leave this level, for they are base and elemental tied to Matter which notoriously resists Spirit, they are trapped within an illusion looking outwards for truth in a realm of lies.

7 is the Number of Venus Netzach - The Number of Mystery - The Secrets of the Mystery Tradition - The Ancient Magical Power Cult of Venus. The Number synonymous with Sexual Polarity and Love. All this much of interest and use when the process of Lustration is completed.

The Ancient Mystery Tradition utilised Magical Knowledge of the North South Planetary Axis, Vertical Polarity, as well as the East West Axis of Horizontal Polarity to maintain Balance and for purposes of Earthing the Power of the Magical Circuit. The Bringing Down of the Godhead and the Earthing of the Forces. The Central Mystery is the Axis of the Earth poled North South. The symbolism of 7 has connections with Cosmic Supra Forces beyond the Planetary Foci for the Rays, such as the influences of the 7 Sisters of the Pleiades. Whereas Lust is a thing to be worked out through the process of Lustration, the Fool, the Hanged Man, the High Priestess and Silver Star all have Higher Magical meanings and properties

The Fool Card also has strong links to the Ace of Discs and the Two of Discs, this is represented in the THOTH Deck by these cards having strongly Green colour symbolism - the Green Wicca Man of Spring upon the Two (Assiah of Chokmah) and the Green of ISIS upon the Ace of Discs (Assiah of Kether - Heaven of Kether Made Real and Manifest upon the Throne of Earth - the Holy Temple of the Human Body).

The Plough, the Big Dipper, the Great Bear or Ursa Major is the Constellation whose Stars point towards the North Pole. The Pole Star is variable in position due to Precession. The 4 Princesses in Tarot have been assigned as representing Astrologically, Rulership over the 4 Quadrants of our World of Earth. They are the Four Thrones and they encompass the Seven Palaces of the Mundane Chakras.

The Cosmic Dragon, Draco as a Constellation at the Northern Pole surrounds the Pole of Kether of the Celestial Heavens. The Four Aces rule the Celestial Heavens from the Northern Pole of the Zodiac unto the 45th Degree of the Latitude North of the Ecliptic, and from the Four Thrones of the Four Aces which Rule in Kether. This suggests the direct link of Kether in Malkuth. The Heaven manifesting within the Earth Sphere. The Aces are the Four Holy Powers, or Creatures and the Princesses are their Thrones upon Physical Earth and within the Temple of the Human Body. The Thrones are the Binah Form aspect made manifest in Physical Matter.

The Head of Draco represents the Throne of the Ace of Cups

The Forepart of Draco represents the Throne of the Ace of swords

The Hindpart of Draco represents the Throne of the Ace of Pentacles

The Tail of Draco represents the Throne of the Ace of Wands

Draco symbolises some very important Sephirophic Paths and Objective aspects of Human Consciousness in terms of Spiritual Experience - a Material Experiential aspect in fact. Debunking the notion that Spiritual things are somehow distant from the Earth Plane. This is of course significant and highly important.

The Throne of Yod Fire will seize / cease Emotion (Water / Heh)

The Throne of Heh Water will seize / cease Mind (Air / Vau)

The Throne of Vau Fire will seize / cease the Body (Earth / Final Heh)

The Throne of Heh Final Earth will seize / cease the Dynamic Life Force (Fire / Yod)

This Transformation is a Supreme Mystery. A No-Thing. The Fool. To make a rationale of this irrational thing, the contending aspects of ourselves are reconciled as the Spiritual aspects of the Aces are magnetically attracted to the Earth Sphere Thrones with which they are in contention. The Cosmic Elements of Kether are earthed and through the Polarity of Contention the Fool condition is attained. 0 = 2. The Elemental structure of Draco unveils the Secret Name of God as Yod Heh Vau Heh Final (YHVH) - the Yod is moved to the back, creating the Mirror Image or Condition of the Reflection as Heh Vau Heh Final Yod (HVHY) - this in fact is the Secret Name of God, it has been most carefully hidden by the proclaimation that YHVH is the Secret Name of God touche - touche - that is to forget and neglect the Nature of the Reflection. It must be remembered and carefully observed that the Constellation of Draco, which encircles the North Pole in the night sky, shows the Dragon or Serpent with it's own tail in it’s mouth - symbolic of the Orobouros - the same design is represented upon the Crowley THOTH Tarot Card the 2 of Disks (Assiah of Chokmah). Wound about the 2 of Disks is a Green Serpent with it's tail in it's own mouth, forming the figure of Eight, the Symbol of Affinity and Infinity deduceable from the Esoteric Equation 0 = 2. As Draco holds it’s own tail in it's mouth so the Secret Name of God and Order of YHVH is revealed. HVHY. The Whole Mystery is contained within this. Few see it. It is the Rightful Knowledge of Humanity and specifically those who Dare to face Malefic Geburah in it's Initiatory aspect. The Secret Mystery of the Western Mystery Tradition is based upon this. It is Live Knowledge within the works of the Golden Dawn, Dion Fortune, Israel Regardie, Aleister Crowley and Waite (the despised one who tried to belatedly to hide it by ensuring his Tarot Cards showed no trace of it). It should be said that if one decides not to be "Silent" then at the very least having breached Mystery etiquette one must be honest and not offer confusion to those whom might follow your own work later as a trusted source. An Occult Blind is completely acceptable, the True Initiate will know of the Blinds and Twilight Language and anticipate it's presence, but a total erasure is wholly unforgivable. The Ancient Greater Mysteries are based upon Magical Knowledge of the North South Axis. The Major Key to the system is ~Attained through the condition of the Fool through the process of Lustration. The Key of the Central Lost Mysteries is elsewhere, and for that we must look to Chiron, the Centaur and his Centaural Mysteries.

I have felt that I am often given messages that are right for the present time. It would seem that I am now an "Agent Provocateur" for One that cannot be openly seen to meddle within the realm of Human affairs. I intuit that here again, that within this article, I am putting out and forth, a message that hopefully will correct the erroneous Knowledge offered publically to Occult students in the past. I feel honoured by having the humbling privilege of being chosen to do so. I have no axe to grind, nor gain, in being able to do so. However, I should add that my personal agenda includes the fact that I have noted that when I Give out, I then receive more Knowledge in return. I am most certain that the minute were I to become selfish with this Giving out of Knowledge, that my Contact Nill immediately cease to use me as a tool. I gain through continuous Scribing with the Golden Pen, and Giving out of information that is aright for the time. I must be open and honest enough to declare this now. We are all to a degree used within the Mysteries, each of us has their own role to play. We must do with unerring vigilance what seems to be aright. In sense of this I have again offered new teaching that may shed light upon the Oldest and Highest Science.
